چکیده

Endophytic fungi are widely present in internal plant tissues and provide different benefits to their host. Medicinal plants have unexplored diversity of functional fungal association; therefore, this study aimed isolate endophytic associated with leaves medicinal Ephedra pachyclada evaluate growth-promoting properties. Fifteen isolated endophytes belonging Ascomycota, three genera, Penicillium, Alternaria, Aspergillus, were obtained from healthy E. pachyclada. These varied antimicrobial activity against human pathogenic microbes produce ammonia indole acetic acid (IAA), addition enzymatic activity. The results showed that Penicillium commune EP-5 had a maximum IAA productivity 192.1 ± 4.04 µg mL−1 the presence 5 tryptophan. isolates crustosum EP-2, chrysogenum EP-3, Aspergillus flavus EP-14 exhibited variable efficiency for solubilizing phosphate salts. Five representative EP-5, caseifulvum EP-11, Alternaria tenuissima EP-13, consortium selected applied as bioinoculant maize plants. increased root lengths 15.8 0.8 22.1 0.6. Moreover, vegetative growth features inoculated improved more than uninoculated ones.

Plant growth-promoting activities for bacterial and fungal endophytes isolated from medicinal plant of Teucrium polium L.

Bacterial and fungal endophytes are widespread inhabitants inside plant tissues and have been shown to assist plant growth and health. However, little is known about plant growth-promoting endophytes (PGPE) of medicinal plants. Therefore, the aims of this study were to identify bacterial and fungal endophytes of Teucrium polium and to characterize plant growth-promoting (PGP) properties of thes...

Isolation and characterization of plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria from wheat rhizosphere and their effect on plant growth promotion

The present study was conducted to characterize the native plant growth promoting (PGP) bacteria from wheat rhizosphere and root-endosphere in the Himalayan region of Rawalakot, Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), Pakistan. Nine bacterial isolates were purified, screened in vitro for PGP characteristics and evaluated for their beneficial effects on the early growth of wheat (Triticum aestivum L.). Am...

Metabolites from endophytes of the medicinal plant Erythrina crista-galli.

Erythrina crista-galli (Fabaceae) is used in Argentinean ethnopharmacology as anti-inflammatory medication, narcotic, desinfectant, and for the treatment of wounds. The common name of the tree is "ceibo" or coral tree. The dominating endophytes in E. crista-galli all belong to the genus Phomopsis as identified by microscopic features and the analysis of their ITS sequences. To investigate a pos...
